Corporate Names

In 1962, National Computer Systems, Inc. was incorporated and became known as NCS. With the acquisition by Pearson Education in 2000, the name was legally changed to NCS Pearson, Inc. Pearson NCS was a business unit within Pearson Education.

In 2006, Pearson NCS merged with Pearson Assessments and the assessments division of AGS Publishing. Our name is now Pearson Assessments.
