SelfScore® Test Scoring Machines

With the SelfScore® option, you can automate test scoring and survey and ballot processing easily—without attaching your scanner to a computer. Each scanner is a self-contained test, survey, or ballot processing system. SelfScore works with the following OpScan scanners:

  • OpScan 2 and 4U scanners
  • OpScan iNSIGHT 2 and 4 scanners

Test Scoring Machine

The stand-alone test scoring option you choose will depend on the number of tests, surveys, or ballots you scan. The OpScan 2 scanner is a hand fed unit. The OpScan 4U scanner features an automatic input hopper, eliminating the need for continuous operator attention. OpScan iNSIGHT scanners add the benefit of image-based data collection, clipping, and archiving. All of the scanners use small ink jet printers to print reports and mark scan sheets.

Accurate & Usable Feedback

The SelfScore option offers participants and trainers immediate feedback. Choose from a variety of OMR scan forms to meet your testing, balloting and survey needs. Each offers write-in areas and a place to enter a performance-assessment score. You can also score one test using up to four different keys in one simple operation—without separating the versions by key sheet.

Detailed Reports

As tests are scored, the SelfScore option collects and stores the results for detailed reports, including roster reports, item analysis, average scores, and frequency distributions.

With SelfScore, you can get faster results from a variety of surveys, including course evaluations and brief employee surveys. Our OpScan scanners can read and tally a virtually unlimited number of forms.

Pearson Assessments Loan (PAL) Program

Your organization may be interested in our loan program. We provide the scanners, training, tutorials, and related maintenance in exchange for purchasing a minimum number of Pearson Assessments forms on an annual basis.
