Pearson NCS or Financial Services Scam Alert

Many people have received a letter, supposedly from “Pearson NCS” or “Pearson Financial Services,” saying they have won prize money (usually $58,000). This is a scam. The people sending the letters are attempting to trick the recipients into sending them money, allegedly to cover “international transaction fees.” The check that is included with the letter is also a fake. Please do not try to cash the check or call the number on the letter.
